READ FIRST: Welcome to the DayZ Index Forum Pinned

Welcome, survivor.

What this place is. The DayZ Index is the trust layer of the DayZ community: a server list ranked by measured players (never votes, never money), showcases for private and commissioned mods, a hire-a-creator board, and this forum.

What makes it different:

• Server rankings come from real measurements every 15 minutes - servers faking their player counts get flagged and hidden. Nobody can buy a position. Ever.
• Reviews only come from verified members (Steam and Discord linked), so reputations here are earned, not manufactured.
• Everything you earn is visible: trust score, tier pips next to your name, badges, name styles and avatar frames. All earned, none purchasable.

Quick start:

• Looking for a server? Check the server list and read the population graphs - real servers breathe, fakes flatline.
• Run a server? Claim it from its page (takes 15 minutes, free forever) and make the page yours.
• Build mods? Showcase your private work and list your services - your review history follows you.
• Need help? Post in Modding Help or Server Admin - read the pinned guide in each section first.

The trust ladder: every helpful review, forum answer and verified action earns trust. Trust unlocks tiers - Survivor, Scavenger, Trader, Veteran, Marksman, Warlord, Legend - and each tier unlocks name styles and avatar frames. The pips next to usernames tell you who has actually contributed.

Glad you made it off the coast.
