Running a DayZ server is a second job. This section is where the other admins are.

First things first - claim your server. Find it in the server list, open its page, press Claim. You put a short code in your server name for 15 minutes, press Check now, done. Claiming is free forever and unlocks:

• Your own page: banner, colors, tagline, description, Discord link
• The owner badge when you reply to reviews
• Your live population graphs (24h / week / month) - the only advertising that cannot be faked

About the rankings: positions come from measured players only. Servers advertising padded counts get flagged automatically and hidden from the list. If you run an honest server, this is the one list where you are not competing against fakes.

Good topics for this section: hosting choices, performance tuning, economy and types.xml, wipe strategy, anti-cheat setups, mod load orders, keeping a fresh server alive past week two.

When you post a config problem, put the file snippet in a code block:

Mark your threads solved when they are - solved threads are the archive every admin searches at 2am.
